Oystershell Cottage was the perfect retreat for New Year. Thomas is an incredibly friendly and responsive host who made us feel right at home. The house was bright and beautiful, exactly as described, and perfectly located near little shops, the rookery, Sands beach and quite a few restaurants. Fishcamp was where we spent NYE, for great food and fireworks - only minutes from the house. We enjoyed a peaceful week and would definitely recommend Oystershell Cottage!

Fantastic spot - walkable to downtown shops, restaurants and waterfront. Very comfortable and charming historic home. Had every needed amenity for a multi-day stay and very convenient location. Would stay here again. We love Beaufort!

We had a great stay! The space was very clean, spacious, and a perfect fit for our family. There was a small miscommunication at one point, but it was quickly resolved. Thomas was very responsive and helpful throughout. The location was excellent and made it easy to walk to downtown. We especially loved discovering Pigeon Point Park just a short walk away (less than 10 minutes). We would happily stay here again.

Beautifully decorated, clean and a very spacious house. We really enjoyed our stay. Thomas is very thoughtful and has everything in the house. Very responsive and a great host. I highly recommend his place. I think this has to be the cleanest and pristine place I have stayed at.

Loved this place! Walked down to the restaurants in less than 10 minutes and walked all over town. It’s a very safe, friendly spot with beautiful homes, great restaurants and friendly people everywhere.

The property was exactly as pictured!! It was beautiful!! Everything that was needed was provided!! The energy in the home was so relaxing and peaceful!! Beautiful home!! We will stay here every time we travel to Beaufort!!! There was not anything that we didn’t like!

A perfect location to explore downtown Beaufort! We thoroughly enjoyed walking to shops and restaurants. The home has been beautifully and thoughtfully modernized with a fantastic kitchen and bathroom. It was hard to leave!

We love staying at Tom's places and highly recommend his properties to anyone staying in the area. I love the decor and the amenities he provides. It was so nice that he decorated for the holidays, and it really made us feel we were at our home away from home for the holidays. I also love the flamingo wallpaper in the downstairs bathroom, and everyone loved the cool office area in the sunroom upstairs.

Beautiful home built in 1897 in walking distance to everything in beautiful historic downtown Beaufort. I only drove to the store and my in laws. House was clean with recently done bathroom and kitchen. House was used as an art studio before and was converted nicely to a home. Owner apparently owns the workshop next door as well. The home has so much character. The wood floors creak and move when you walk in a good way: The house is alive and has a personality and charm of its own. i would definitely stay again and highly recommend it. Also HVAC system appears recent. Home has Dual zones so the temperature is moderated nicely.
