We had a wonderful stay at Thomas's place. The house has been beautifully restored with everything that you could need and more. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, great walkable location to downtown, and parking! Thomas was very responsive, flexible, and offered lots of information about the area. The check-in and check-out procedures were super simple and easy to follow. If we are ever in Beaufort again, we would certainly return to Thomas's place without question.

We really enjoyed this house. It was a last minute decision to break up our drive back home and our only regret was only staying 2 nights. The house is clean and has so much character. It’s a great neighborhood with shops and restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful location, walkable to a variety of restaurants, stores and sights, especially the Cyprus Wetlands (our favorite!) The house is beautiful, quiet, peaceful and in the perfect location! The live oaks are gorgeous, and create a perfect setting in the backyard. With the screened in porch it is perfect to enjoy the weather, and the birds, without the bugs! The house is comfortable, and you immediately feel right at home! Just look down the end of the street in the evening for a perfect view of the sunset!

Thomas and Annette’s place is beautiful! Easy to walk to great restaurants and shops in downtown Beaufort. We were also able to use the provided park pass for a day trip to Hunting Island! Definitely recommend!

My husband and I had a wonderful trip to Beaufort and this Airbnb topped it off. The location, style, and amenities were outstanding. We had a great stay for my birthday weekend at Gallery 1897. The historic house was beautifully renovated and kept some of it's historic charm. The house was clean and there was coffee K cups and laundry detergent ready for use. The house was about a 8-10 minute walk to downtown which was really convenient. We had alot to do during our stay. Highly recommended.

We were very satisfied. Short walk to downtown. A short drive to any amenities that weren't downtown. The house was very clean. We did use the kitchen one morning, and everything we needed was there. And available. Street parking was fine, no problems with that. I was pleased with everything and plan to return. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

We had a delightful time at Gallery 1897. It had all the charm we were hoping for and more. It was one of the best equipped places we have stayed. The kitchen has everything you need and the beds are very comfy. The location to downtown and the historic homes was perfect. We were able to walk around Beaufort and enjoy the sites. Thomas was very responsive to any questions we had. He exceeded being accommodating when the pass they provide for Hunting Island State Park had just expired and he offered to cover the cost when we went. Just the fact that he provides a pass is generous. We would highly recommend Gallery 1897 to make your trip special while in Beaufort!

We had such an amazing stay! The place truly felt like home from the moment we walked in. It was very nice, cozy, and super comfortable. Everything was clean and welcoming. Thomas’s place was perfect for my family and I (5 people total) to stay for our long weekend trip to Beaufort. The kitchen is roomy and great to cook in, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated, the backyard is fenced in and spacious for your pets, and all of the main areas to visit while in town are within a short drive from the house. Plus, the house is located in a very quiet neighborhood, with little to no traffic at anytime of the day. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!
