This is a great place! Beautiful home and a 10 min or less walk to downtown. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood in the evenings to see all the beautiful historic homes. The house had everything we needed and more. Very clean and well thought out. We will for sure stay again!

We drove from Kansas to be here for our daughter’s wedding. We had a last-minute cancellation on our stay and had to book this house with very short notice. Tom was absolutely fantastic to work with and we are so thankful our other plans fell through so we got the opportunity to experience this place. I don’t even know how to capture all of the amazing things about this house. The beds were very comfortable, the sheets and blankets were so soft, every single detail in the house was thoughtful. Things that we wouldn’t even think would be provided, were, like lotion and beach towels, the popcorn maker and different popcorn seasonings, and doggy bags. The house is beautiful, you can tell they put a lot of love into how they decorated. The backyard is so beautiful, big and with tall trees and a great hangout space. We look forward to staying again! Thank you SO much!

My girlfriends and I had such a great time here for our little weekend getaway! We were struck by how clean and refreshing the house smelled as soon as we opened the door and all of our beds were so comfortable, even the sofa bed! I appreciate how very well stocked/prepared this cottage was, probably the most well stocked of any place I’ve stayed in personally. Gas for the grill - stocked, seasonings - stocked, coffee AND creamer - stocked, Ziploc bags - stocked, beach accessories - stocked. Even though we didn’t forget anything at home, it was nice to know that Thomas already attended to any “what ifs” like the aforementioned examples. If Oystershell Cottage is available, you should book it.

Such a great place to stay! We enjoyed the house and were able to use the annual park pass to explore Hunting Island. So cool that it was included and allowed us to fully explore the area. Will definitely stay again if looking for another place in the area.

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was so inviting. Our host went above and beyond to provide everything we needed. We had the most relaxing and peaceful trip! The pass to Hunting Island was a HUGE plus! We can’t wait to go back.

The cottage is so cute, lots of room for 6 people. Very clean and stock will everything you would need for your stay. Even a cute coffee bar. The location is amazing, so close to Parris Island and what a small cute town. It says 2 bathroom but really only 1 full bathroom with a shower. The other bathroom is a half-bath. So trying to get 6 people to shower in the morning was tuff to tackle.

Really special time at this sweet Air BNB. Easy and safe to walk to coffee shops, bakery, restaurant, and shops. Could easily spend 4-5 days exploring. Can’t wait to come back! We had two young girls and it was the perfect size and space for our family of 4.

We had a great stay at Thomas’s place this weekend! The home was lovely, exactly as advertised. It’s about 5-8 minutes to downtown Port Royal, where some of our favorite restaurants were. And about 8-10 to downtown Beaufort. So it’s a perfect location. I do recommend bringing a sound machine - no fault of Thomas’s, but the neighbor leaves their dog outside most of the time and it likes to howl at the moon (literally), so a sound machine would have been helpful at night. As far as everything from Thomas, though, it was perfect!

We had a great stay. Weather wasn’t the greatest but the location of the home was perfect for walking to restaurants and shops. We loved using the provided bikes to explore. House was spotless and had everything needed for an amazing stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to return again soon.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Could not have had a better trip! The house was so beautiful and historic. It fits the area so perfectly. There was an abundance of wonderful surprises: .I loved the numerous hot tea options with a tea kettle, plastic baggies for leftovers, elegant scented candles with a lighter to enjoy, beach towels, free pass to Hunting Is and they did a top notch renovation with the most functional and beautiful sink in the kitchen and a perfect bathroom. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Best sleep I’ve had in years because of how quiet it was in Beaufort. I really can’t say enough great things. If you get a chance to stay at this place, you’re so fortunate. Just hit the reserve button now! It’s hands-down one of my favorite trips. In the area, the she crab soup at Panini’s & fried green tomatoes at Wren were delicious, we rented kayaks and loved that, super enjoyed the museum at Parris Is and learning what recruits do there, tasted olive oils and walked all over
